Hi Everyone. Bet y'all thought we'd be skipping the challenge this year. But there is no way we wouldn't celebrate the anniversary. So Happy PxJ Community Anniversary! We will be moving the event a little to start from September 19th and it will end on October 19th.

This year the ever wonderful Jar of Loose Screws will be providing the prize.

We're making it simple this time around. September, throughout December are 4 months filled with celebrations around the world and my country. So the focus of this year's challenge is: Holidays.

And because I'm me, gotta always add a little modifier to add to the challenge. You are allowed to use any existing Holidays from around the world and adapt it into your piece, but you're just as welcome to create brand new holidays to serve your works. Five modifiers are available for you to choose from and you must use one of these modifiers.

The modifiers will be an animal or creature that you must include in your piece somehow. The modifiers are:

Black Cats.
Bats.
Dragons.
Ravens
Scarab

You can submit art (photos are acceptable) or written fiction. For fan fiction the minimum length is 500 words.

You will have until 11:59 cst on October 19th to submit your piece and be eligible for the prize.

So, twilightfreefaller on tumblr sent this ask to someone I was following:
"Seeing you experiment with Jazz having doorwings reminds me of an old G1 fic I read year ago where Jazz had self modded his transformation sequence to tuck his door wings under his back plating that becomes the top of his alt mode. I can't remember the exact reasons for why Jazz did this, but I think it was to cut down on a vulnerability Jazz felt his doorwings were and that they were overstimulating for him with the added environmental information they provided. Ratchet reamed him out over essentially blinding a sensory organ with a the mod after finding them due to Jazz taking heavy damage to his back. And until Jazz had fully healed/Ratchet got the proper parts to finish his repairs, Jazz had to have his door wings out. So he was hanging out with Prowl and the other Praxians to learn/relearn how to deal with having an extra sensory organ, aka doorwings"

I clearly remember reading this fic, but neither of us can find it anywhere. Do any of you remember it? And if so, know where to find it?

Hello everyone! The time has come for us to celebrate a new year of the PXJ Community's anniversary. Remember you're all welcome to join us at the official Discord https://discord.gg/kx4VunNMk3

We'll be doing things a little simple this time because September just got super busy for the Admins here. The event will run from 09/09 till 10/06. That is from Monday September the 9th to Sunday October the 6th. That means you can drop your contributions starting September 9th and until 11:59 pm CST on October the 6th.

There will be two prizes. One's a traditional postcard from yours truly. (You must be ok with sharing a postal address with me) And one digital headshot commission by the wonderful memmainks

The format is as follows:

You can do either art, fanfics, photography, any kind of media is welcome.
Art can be any format but it must be SFW if posted publicly. If NSFW it's best that it's posted directly to our proper discord channels. (If you're unable to join but still wish to do NSFW, you can DM me to share it on our Discord for the purpose of accounting for your participation)
Written works need a minimum of 1000 words.
To account for your participation, you must give me a heads up sharing your work with me either through X, Tumblr or Discord.
You're welcome to multiple entries but you only get one participation “ticket” for the prizes.
Must not enter an existing creation of yours but you're free to create a new piece based on existing creations.

Now for the theme! You can choose one of 4 overall themes and then select up to two of 8 ‘modifiers’. In perfect Zombie/Plant fashion the themes come song flavored!

Overall themes:
I write sins not tragedies.
Gimme fuel, gimme fire. Gimme that which I desire.
I walk a lonely road. The only one that I have ever known
Welcome to the Jungle

How you interpret these lines are all up to you but your piece has to reflect the overall sentiment. You can be literal and include the lines or you can use the meaning to guide your work.

Your modifiers are:
Humanization
Gender swap
Beastformers / Anthropomorphic
Mirror Mirror
Musical (yes as in a musical movie or play)
Age of Mythology
Fairy Tales
Multiverse of Madness (as in TFA Prowl meeting Bay Jazz or something like that).

AU is not a modifier cause all of these modifiers already represent Alternate Universes, you're free to stick to any given universe as your base or cook up brand new worlds of your own. Thank you for joining us in celebrating the love for our favorite bots.

Remember the central theme has to go around Prowl and Jazz, be it as a couple or as friends, any other characters are welcome as supporting cast but the center of attention should be our favorite black and white duo. That said, have fun everyone!

(Hi everyone! eerian sadow here, posting again this year for head mod Vejiraziel/Zombieprowl! This year's challenge is a different format, but we hope you'll enjoy it! And don't forget to join the discord, if you haven't already! It's quiet, but fun!)

Welcome to the 2023 PxJ anniversary Challenge! We are a bit late this year because the high command at the community have been swamped with real life (and work) but we're back to celebrate our favorite TF pairing!

We'll be running the challenge from September 17th (the actual anniversary date) through October 15th. Our format is as follows:

4 weekly themes for you to fill out. You can do any form of plastic arts and written fiction to participate. You can participate either for all 4 weeks or just do one. Whichever suits you best. The weekly themes are:

Week 1 - Generations: pick out your favorite existing Transformers universe and center your works around Prowl and Jazz within that universe. Don't need to follow the canon to the T but it has to be clear our favorite Cybertronians are in a certain continuity.

Week 2 - Alternate Universes: Coffee shop au? Check. Pokemon masters? Check. Wizardry? Check! Anything and everything you can think of that isn't part of an existing Transformers universe. Go wild! However, be observant of the following week to make sure you don't overlap because…

Week 3 - Organically Grown: It's time to shed some metal and grow some…flesh? Humanformers, Beastformers, Dragonformers, fleshy Merfolk, My Little Ponyformers…whatever your mind can come up with as long as they are based on "organic" beings.

Week 4 - Spooky/Horror Show: The time has come to bring in those scary vibes. You can do anything that fits the theme, from Monsterformers, to slasher film vibes, the supernatural, nightmarish settings, anything and everything that would fit the spooky season. Violence is not a must have but as long as there is a clear influence to the horror genre it will count. (Please use adequate warnings for the most unsettling content).

Hello everyone! Welcome to the ProwlxJazz Community’s FIFTEEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY CHALLENGE!!! I’m eerian_sadow, helping out the mod team with this year’s event!

For year fifteen, we’re both going back to our roots and changing it up a little. We’ve got a slate of 29 prompts for you, which breaks down to one per day if you’re into that, but they’re set up in weekly themes rather than assigned to a specific day!
